		<description>So true. It&#039;s critical not to mistake todays fashion for &quot;vision&quot;! Vision is about maintaining your objective in your mind as you move through your business activities - so that you put the context of each decision, and each action, in terms of moving you toward that vision.

Sometimes you go sideways because, well, you have to, but you KNOW you are going sideways and correct later. 

I always say, think strategically, act tactically. Remember your objective and keep moving toward it.

It&#039;s like sailing - you plot a course, you have your destination in mind, winds, waves, and sailing errors lead you off course, but you course correct. You don&#039;t kill yourself for getting blown off-course - you just keep moving and adjust your plan so you still reach the objective.

I can see how that same thought might apply to life and personal development.</description>
